Dive into a twisted world of secret organizations, forbidden rituals, and cold-blooded murders. Enter the consciousness of the victims to explore their memories in search for clues. Take up the last case of Benedict Fox, a self-proclaimed detective bound to his demon companion. Fight demons, explore the subconscious, and solve elaborate puzzles in a meticulously designed adventure inspired by Lovecraft’s nightmares, noir fiction, and early 20th century jazz. Use your bond with the demon to explore the minds of the recently deceased in your last chance to get a “testimony”. Jump into surreal worlds where memories, emotions, and traumas take on a physical form. Uncover the secrets of an old mansion where a couple died and their child has gone missing. Let yourself be drawn into a dark yet intimate intrigue that will have you face the family’s demons – both figuratively and literally! Use your weapons, demon powers, and surroundings in creative combinations to overcome demons, monsters and disciples of secret organizations – but remember that concentration and a tactical approach are your greatest assets.

The art, the style and the story are fantastic. The gameplay was a little confusing at first, and the connection from section to section were a bit disjointed. The puzzles weren’t as confusing as they were unclear what was supposed to so to solve them. The mechanic that you need to collect ink to upgrade your skills was groovy touch. The story is fantastic, but the overall gameplay… horrendous. Never have I rage quit so hard on a game this hard. And what made it that much frustrating was because the story was so engaing, only to fuck with the player with commands that frustrated the abosulte hell out of you. I would NOT recommend that you buy this game until they fix some of the controls to make it a BIT more user freindly.
