I’ve had Bendy and The Ink Machine for a while, but was never able to finish it because I didn’t have all the chapters. Well recently I fixed that and they ALL got an upgrade. More details, better graphics, more voice work, and all I can say is WOW! The story was fantastic, and even though I didn’t fully understand what was going on UNDER the story we were seeing, you can definite find discover all the sub-context if you pay close attention and watch a theory video or two.

For the most part, the story follows Henry, a former animator at Joey Drew Studios. Joey invites Henry back to the studio after 30 years to show him something. Henry arrives at a dark and empty studio left to wander about the halls and figure out what is going on. A mysterious Ink Machine has been installed in the studio and Henry switches it on. Enter BENDY, the Ink DEMON! A creature that chases Henry through the studio as he scrambles to find some way out.

This game is a twisted and cynical horror story about what happens to a man who focuses solely on his work instead of the relationships he forms along the way, and Bendy, Boris, Alice Angel and The Butcher Gang are all symbols of the demons that torment Joey Drew into old age. I LOVE a game with a great storyline.

If you are interested in buying Bendy and The Ink Machine, you can do so on Steam for $19.99
