It’s come to my attention that if you want to get back into the game, you need to make sure that you market yourself and make absolutely sure people know where they can find you. I, at the time of creating my account, didn’t think that Reddit was all that popular of a platform, I didn’t feel I need to tell everyone. I figured people would just see my name and say “OH, DUDE! Murphy’s on Reddit! Let’s follow him!”
Well, that is not the case, people need explicit instructions to do things, or else they just go into autopilot mode and zone out. SO…
MURPHY’S ON REDDIT, Y’ALL. YOU SHOULD FOLLOW HIM!

Technically, I’ve been on Reddit since April of 2014. I really haven’t been that active thinking that it wasn’t that useful of a platform. But as the years have gone by, I have realized that it has its place as a fantastic source of content and stories that many narrators turn to when they want something a bit “off the cuff”. Since Reddit get way more traffic than my site here, I have taken it upon myself to begin posting some of my short stories to either my personal profile on Reddit, or to /r/creepypasta, /r/nosleep/ or /r/shortstories. If you don’t want to hunt around for everything that I’ve posted, just go to my profile page, and it will show you everything that I’ve submitted.
Does this mean I will stop posting content here? Hell, no. I’ll be posting here first, of course, but reposting that content, whether it be written word or narration video, on Reddit after it’s made public. It’s twice the work, but, hopefully, it should have better results in the end. I see it as such…
You can host an art gallery in your own home, but if you don’t tell anybody about it, nobody is going to attend. If you post it publicly, in an open forum, you have a much better chance of getting someone’s attention, and then turning them onto your works. It’s all about getting back out there and letting people know “HEY! I’M NOT DEAD YET!”
Murphy1976 is the Founder of WellHey Productions. Although, he is considered by some to be one of the most creative creepypasta narrators, he doesn’t tend to classify himself as strictly creepypasta. As the eldest in the Creepy Pasta Network, Murphy is looked upon as a faux-father figure to some, and a grumpy old man to others. Murphy currently resides in Wisconsin, USA.
