This was an adorable Metroidvania. What I loved about it the most was it took the Metroidvania concept and panned it across three different timelines: past, present and future, and all three were inter-connected. The graphics were par for the course, a lot of RPGMaker stock, and the music was enjoyable. I think the most irksome things in game were the inferface elements that were a direct clone of Castlevania: Sympohony of the Night. I’ve played that game so many times, I recognize menus and the layouts of items and even names of certain objects.
The good thing is that it didn’t take away from the game experience. If anything, it made everythign very familiar, so I didn’t have to waste time on learnign where everything was – I just knew.
The best thing about this game: It gave The Salt Lick Livestream probably it’s best meme: The Sparkle Gift.
