I’m gonna make this as spoiler-free as I possibly can. So, recently the new installation in the Star Wars saga was released in theaters. It has been receiving mostly positive reviews, and, I agree with most of them. Now, I won’t say that this movie is better than the originals, but I think it can be considered to be up there with them. I will say that this movie blows the prequels out of the water. I’ve seen this movie 3 times already, and I still think it kicks some serious ass. If you liked A New Hope, you’ll like this movie. When I saw this movie for the first time, a sense of child-like wonder washed over me like how I’d imagine people felt while seeing the original Star Wars back in 1977. JJ Abrams did a bang up job writing and directing this film, and I’m glad he’ll be somewhat involved in the next 2 movies in the trilogy. This movie satisfies you, and also leaves you wanting more. Needless to say, I can’t wait until May 2017.
