The time has come again for me to saddle up the golf cart and hit the links for the 13th Annual LVC, Loran V. Cech Open. A gathering of friends and family to pay tribute to Loran Cech, who passed away from cancer 13 years ago. Every year, we all get together at the New Berlin Hills golf course and buckle up for a fast paced 18 hole scramble. After the scores have been tallied, we jon back up in the clubhouse for food, frivolity and fantastic prizes. This year was no exception. The weather, as always, was superb, and spirits were high.
After talking to the LVC committee members, my dad being one of them, I think I may have finally convinced the old fogies to allow for an LVC website. This would include an online registration, pick your foursome, review dates and agendas, and preview the great prizes being given away. Since this is a non profit organization, all of the proceeds go to the American Cancer Society, I have set aside some of my webspace to allow for a subdomain.
Just another project, I have decided to undertake, when time is already short.
