Well slap me silly and call me Susan! This is actually happening.
I was contacted by Steven Ikaris Dunn back in May of 2017 if he could have my permission to turn my short story “A Slender Victory” into a short film. As with all of my writing, as long as you ask my permission, have at it – just credit me at the author and you’re good to go son. But then, just today, August 3rd, 2017, he contacts me again with a link to the Indiegogo donation page to help get this bad boy off the ground.
I nearly fell off my chair when I read what he told me. And I implore all of you to see what you can do to make this Psychosynthesis Studios (his production company) project into a reality. They have a base goal of $1,200.00 and with your donation, you are eligible for certain perks, as are all donation pages.
If you want to read the original story, you can so so HERE
This is a HUGE honor to have one of my stories transformed into a movie, so I implore each and every one of you to do what you can to help Psychosynthesis what they need to launch this fantastic undertaking.
If you can’t donate, please share this article with your friends, family, your next-door neighbor, your mailman, your ex, your ex’s ex, the babysitter, the guy down the street that smells like his dog, that little pipsqueak across the street that is constantly demolishing your mailbox – YEAH, I KNOW IT’S YOU, JIMMY – your coworkers, the DMV workers, and everyone else.

Murphy1976 is the Founder of WellHey Productions. Although, he is considered by some to be one of the most creative creepypasta narrators, he doesn’t tend to classify himself as strictly creepypasta. As the eldest in the Creepy Pasta Network, Murphy is looked upon as a faux-father figure to some, and a grumpy old man to others. Murphy currently resides in Wisconsin, USA.
