A lovely journey that unfolds before your eyes in the form of a written novel. This was definitely a challenge, since I’m not the strongest typer, but I had to up my game in order to finish the game. The game’s mechanic uses your typing skills to defeat enemies. Short words in a slow succession denote easier foes, longer words at a faster succession denote more difficult enemies, and then theres the one beastie that required me to type out aequeosalinocalcalinoceraceoaluminosocupreovitriolic. Lucky for me, I figured out how to use my acquired abilities in the game to bypass some of the more lengthy and insane words.

The story follows a girl and her fox through the landscape of this paperback world, as you seek to find answers about why you are here and where you must go. You can unlock different regions by acquiring experience points and progress further in the game. The overall feel is very lighthearted and well thought out. I would recommend this game to anyone who wants to strengthen their typing skills AND those who want a good story.

It is available on Steam for $14.99
