For The Month of October, I had the pleasure of streaming Fran Bow on Twitch, and one stream in I learned of, which allowed me to stream to Twitch AND YouTube at the same time. By the time I realized that I wanted to make these videos permanently available, Part 1 was lost to the ether of Twitch.

Fran Bow is a WONDERFUL Point-And-Click puzzle game that tells the story about a young girl who is thought to have gone crazy after the gruesome murder of her parents. The story takes her on a wondrous journey and back to reality as she faces the truth. The story was very reminiscent of Pan’s Labyrinth where the worlds of fantasy and reality collide and the main character must make a choice. I highly recommend this game. There are very few games I know of that deal with mental illness, and even fewer that deal with it well. One of the game mechanics is that you take your medicine to see alternate worlds that lie beyond the veil. There are moments of blood and gore, so if you are squeamish, this may not be the best choice for you.

It is available on Steam for $14.99
